Michael went to high school in Reno, NV where he played four years of baseball. Following high school, Michael attended and graduated from the University of Southern California. He played club baseball all four years while being an officer since his sophomore year. His senior year, he split duties managing and running the team. The team was successful all four years making the SoPac regional tournament in 2009. Michael graduated from USC with Bachelors in International Relations/ Global Business.
