Drew was born in Dallas, TX and moved to Webb City, MO early in life. He graduated high school at Webb City in 2016 after starting in the outfield as a Senior.Drew was also a two year member of the Kansas City Bombers showcase organization playing second base, outfield, and catcher. After high school,Drew chose to attend Pittsburg State University and joined the club team as a freshman, spending his first year as a utility player for a team that narrowly missed the postseason. Drew was a starter for the Gorillas in each of the next three seasons while serving as Vice President in 2018 and President in 2019 through 2020. Drew played in two Division II World Series events and lead Pitt State to the DII National Championship in 2019. He also served as Head Coach for the Gorillas during the 2022 season. 

Professionally, Drew has a BBA in Business Management from Pitt State and works as a Commercial Loan Officer in Joplin, MO
