Iowa State won the Mid-America Region in 2018 in dramatic fashion.  They lost their opening round game to Missouri by one run, then battled through the losers bracket.  They eventually faced Colorado State in an elimination game and defeated the Rams by a score of 1-0.  Once in the Championship, they faced Missouri once again needing to beat them twice.  The Cyclones were up to the task and beat Missouri twice, by you guessed it, one run in each of the games to claim the Mid-America Regional Championship.  ISU was a battle tested team that came into the World Series as the #6 seed.  They won their first game but lost the next two to Penn State and ECU respectively.  Will the Cyclones have what it takes to win the very competitive Mid-America in 2019 or will it be someone else’s turn?  You’ll have to check out the Mid-America Team Previews to find out…
