With being sent home on the line, Penn State and Texas State came in to today’s game knowing this was their moment to prove if they had what it takes to make it in the Series. TXST came out strong putting up a 5-1 lead early over Penn State, but the Nittany Lions battled back and took a 8-5 lead shortly after. They held on to that lead to the very end, earning them a spot in the final four. Tyler Yazujian took home the player of the game honors for his 3 run double in the 5th inning that put his team on top.
